The Man Behind the Mission

From Cane River Roots to Mentorship & Legacy

My name is Phillip Kevin DuBriel, known to the world as Maham the Mentor.
My story begins on the historic Cane River in Louisiana — the heart of the Metoyer family legacy, a lineage built on resilience, culture, and purpose.

Growing up, I learned early that leadership isn’t about title or status — it’s about service. My life’s work has been to combine education, entrepreneurship, and empowerment to guide others toward transformation.

From earning degrees in Computer Information Technology and Horticulture, to obtaining an Entrepreneurship Certificate from Baylor University, my path has always revolved around one goal: helping people discover their own power.

“Empowering minds, building leaders, and creating legacy

one story at a time.”

The mission of Maham the Mentor Books LLC is to educate and empower communities through three pillars:

  • Books that heal, teach, and inspire.

  • Music that motivates and uplifts.

  • Mentorship that turns vision into action.

Through every book, every track, and every conversation, I aim to remind people that their past doesn’t define them — their purpose does.
